Remember that beauty is skin deep. Acknowledge your flaws and learn to love them. It is the passion in your soul that truly captures your personality at hand.
And one day a man will be more in love with that passion then the tight black dress you’re wearing. He’s a keeper.
Remember to be kind to other women from all walks of life and nature. We have a special bond (us women) where we share more than enough of these similar life experiences. So glance with a smile at your fellow female and end the jealousy. This world has more than enough problems to deal with as it is.
Care for your mother or someone who is mother-like to you, whether she was there to catch your first step or disappeared all together. She is older now, probably wiser, but for the most part, she is the only female who knows bits and pieces that the world hasn’t got.
Dress up when you’re in the mood. Wear a pretty dress even if its chilly outside. This is your body, your temple. Embrace it and prepare it for whatever mood you want to flaunt today. Even if it’s wearing sweats and a t shirt, which is what I wear when I’m in chillax mode.
Dream big and never settle. Don’t rush into growing up. Live a little.
Be alone at times. The best part of life is the ability to be completely happy and content alone. It is when we truly love our life alone, that we learn to love ourselves.
Speak up and tell others how you feel before you regret it. Speak your mind. As women, that is our most powerful weapon.
Don’t look for the ideal man. No daddy issues here. Just let love flow. You’ll know it when you see it. And don’t be afraid to make mistakes while finding him. You have to go through the obstacles (other assholes) to find what’s worth. To find that complement to your life.
Be confident in all that you do. Yes, life will throw hardships at you. But if you let them get the best of you, then that’s not a life worth living.
Gratitude is your best friend. Chocolate is okay to eat. Crying randomly doesn’t mean you’re emotional, at least you know you have a heart.
Take pride in all the relationships you make in your life and hold on to those selective few who understand your crazy way of seeing the world and rather join in with you then judge.
But most of all, share all your thoughts, dreams, and passions with the rest of the women out there so that they may follow in our footsteps.
It’s one thing to live your life. But wouldn’t you want to leave a legacy? A message? A path so that each little girl can one day capture your thoughts and place them in the palm of their hands.
